The Labs this year will be at Friday morning from 8.00 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. Except the endoscopy lab (11th of June, whole day lab). All labs will take place at the Congress Center.

WET LABS

Endoscopy in ECC
This one day will take place on 11th of June and is separated in a theory and a practical part. You will learn the main indications for endoscopy in ECC and train emergency endoscopy procedures of the respiratory tract and GI-tract (e.g. foreign body removal) in cadavers.

Tubes and things
This hands on wet lab well be done with cadavers. You will improve your skills in placement of peripheral and central venous accesses, thoracic drains, prepubic catheters and esophageal feeding tubes.

Acid-Base-Analysis
In this seminar about basic and advanced Acid-Base-Analysis Dr. Bilbrough will explain the approach to Acid-Base-Analysis and discuss case examples. Some pitfall in Acid-Base-Analysis will be shown. It is planed as an interactive seminar. If you have some interesting cases don’t hesitate to bring them with you.

Diagnostic imaging in ECC
This is an interactive computer based lab. Instructors show important diagnostic imaging findings and techniques in ECC patients including the FAST system.
