How to travel to Berlin
By Airplane
There are currently two international airports running in Berlin.
Berlin-Tegel (TXL)
Take the TXL-Bus from the Airport to “Karlsplatz“. It is an about 3 minutes foot walk to the Chariteé and Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus.
Altenative to the foot walk is to take the bus 147 from the opposite side of the “Karlsplatz” station (“Schumannstr./Luisenstr.”) to the next station (“Charité-Campus Mitte”). The bus stop is directly in front of the Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus.
Berlin-Schoenefeld (SFX)
Take the underground U-Bahn to the station “Friedrichstraße”, change here to bus 147 (Direction “Leopoldplatz”) to the bus stop “Charité-Campus Mitte”. The bus stop is in front of the Langenbeck–Virchow-Haus.
Transfer by Taxi
Tegel (TLX): ca. 20 minutes
Schoenefeld (SFX): ca. 50-60 minutes
By Train
Plan your journey to the Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). From here you can reach the congress center by a 10-15 min foot walk.
Or change to the Bus 147 direction “Puschkinallee“: Leave the bus at bus stop „Luisenstraße/Charité“. This is directly in front the congress center.
If your train arrives at „Ostbahnhof“, change to S-Bahn or underground and leave at the station “Friedrichstraße“. Change to Bus 147 (direction “Leopoldplatz“) until you reach the bus stop “Charité-Campus Mitte” in front of the Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus.
By Car
